Ledger Live is the official companion app to install blockchain apps, add accounts and manage transactions.
Select 'Set up as new' on-device, choose a PIN and write down the generated recovery phrase in order on the provided sheet.
The device will prompt for word confirmation. This ensures your backup is correct — never digitize the phrase.
Use Ledger Live Manager to install the blockchain-specific apps and add accounts to manage addresses and balances.
Always verify transaction details and addresses on your Ledger device before approving to avoid compromised hosts.
